Cherish by Kris Bryant is an absolutely superb heart-tugging romance. I always expect great love stories from Ms. Bryant’s novels, and with this book, she has met and exceeded my expectations.
This is indeed a pure romance novel with lovely characters and a magnificent setting (Goda Beach). We even have some of my favorite tropes with age-gap, small town, and even a hint or two of an ice queen in the tale. The story of how artist Josie Lockner and Olivia Mountclair fall in love will bring a smile to your lips and a tear to your eyes. One of the best parts is getting to see characters I fell in love with in another book by this author; Brooke, Cassie and their son Noah Wellington from the author’s novel Temptation. They are important secondary characters in this book, and we even get to meet their young daughter, Ava.
I had a fantastic time reading this book. If you enjoy romantic novels, you don’t want to miss this one.
